American Thoracic Society - 2012 International Trainee Travel Award

The International Lung Health and Membership Committees of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) have announced the availability of the ATS International Trainee Travel Award (ITTA), which will provide travel support for international trainees to attend the ATS International Conference in San Francisco, California May 2012.

2012 American Thoracic Society International Conference

18 - 23 May 2012, San Francisco, California

This conference will take place on 18th - 23rd May 2012, in San Francisco, California.

At ATS 2012 in San Francisco, more than 400 sessions will provide a comprehensive review of the latest information on the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases, critical illnesses, and sleep disorders. In addition, more than 5,500 scientific research abstracts and clincial case reports will be presented, giving attendees new pespectives on the clinical, basic science and translation discoveries that will shape the future of adult and pediatric respiratory care. Among the many topics to be covered are asthma, COPD, lung cancer, obstructive sleep apnea, pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, ARDS, and sarcoidosis.
